RES Heavy Service ("we", "us") is the mobile diesel truck repair service operated by RES Heavy LLC, which also operates our text messaging. This policy explains how we handle information collected when you contact us through our website at resheavy.com, by phone, or by text message.

When you submit our service-request form, or call or text our business line to request service, we collect the information you provide: your name, phone number, vehicle location, vehicle details, a description of the problem, and payment method. Calls may be recorded for quality and dispatch purposes.

How we use it

We use this information solely to dispatch and complete your repair: coordinating the mechanic, quoting work, confirming appointments and arrival times, and processing payment.

Mobile information & SMS consent

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as our telephony and payment processors, is permitted solely to deliver the service you requested. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

We do not sell or rent your mobile phone number. SMS opt-in is never shared, sold, or transferred for any purpose.

SMS messaging

Text messages are transactional and relate to a service request you initiated or to work we have previously performed for you. Message frequency depends on your job — typically 5 to 15 messages per service request, plus occasional reminders when an inspection we performed for you is coming due. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.

Data retention

We retain job and message records as needed to operate the business and meet legal and accounting obligations.
